TV Guide Online: Is it hard to live up to a nickname that's slang for sexual charisma?
MoJo: (Laughs) I guess so. Everybody keeps asking me, if I had the mojo working, why did I get booted off? Actually, MoJo just stemmed from Melissa Jo. Instead of saying that long name, people just started calling me MoJo.
TVGO: After seeing on air how your hat kept Evan at a distance literally, because it was so large that he couldn't get near you have you reconsidered your policy on chapeaux?
MoJo: Not at all. What I said, I believe in so much. It takes a confident person to wear a hat. And I just love accessories! I certainly didn't think it would be that big of a deal. It was especially funny to hear Evan say that I kept bopping him in the head with it. All he had to do was ask me to take it off!
TVGO: Did you feel at all guilty about joining Sarah and Melissa M. in crashing Evan's hot-tub rendezvous with Zora?
MoJo: Not at all. She had a full day with Evan and half the night. Most of our other dates ended about the same time, so it didn't seem like we were crashing anything.
TVGO: Having been dissed and dismissed by Evan, do you regret not aiming a wee bit lower when you were fencing?
MoJo: (Laughs) No. You know, he actually wounded me in that process! By accident, he kind of cut my leg. It was funny, though, because in the long run, I got him down on the ground.
TVGO: In case our readers should want to present a significant other with a personalized puzzle like the one you offered Evan, where would they go to get something like that made?
MoJo: I actually created it myself, although you can go to any store and buy a puzzle kit and then just print the picture off of your computer. Nobody gave me that idea. I thought it up all by myself. I'm just very unique like that. It's a shame that Evan couldn't see past the poem about the husband and wife it wasn't [meant] to scare him, it was just my feelings before going on the show. And in the poem, it said that I could wait for my husband it's not something I wanted to rush into. I think he misinterpreted it a lot.
TVGO: Did you get the puzzle back, at least?
MoJo: No, I think Paul [the butler] kept it.
TVGO: What about all the baubles that Evan handed out? Did you hock them, you know, to avoid painful memories?
MoJo: Oh, no. I'll keep the jewelry forever. A gift is a gift. I don't ever plan on selling it. I've never had pearls before, [or] a sapphire [or] an emerald. So it means a lot to me, and hopefully, it's something that I can pass on to future children and say, "Look, I got this on TV!" That would be so cool.
TVGO: Having gotten a taste of the limelight, will you be pursuing other TV gigs?
MoJo: Definitely! I want [my career] to skyrocket, so hopefully, this will open up a lot of doors. I'm trying to talk to Fox about The MoJo Show or The Millionaire MoJo Show. That would be even better! I'm still looking for Mr. Right, so we'll see what happens.
