Just because Cameron Diaz's MTV show Trippin' centers on eco-sensitive travel doesn't mean the star can't primp a bit.
Worried about how her skin looks on TV, Cameron, 32, made MTV foot the bill for her pre-travel acne treatments, a production source says.
Also on the MTV account are her hair extensions that run into the thousands of dollars.
"Cameron has extremely thin hair," the source says. "Even when her hair looks short and unfussy on the show, she's wearing a lot of extensions."
The source says the MTV crew was also shocked that Liz Rogers, who gets a co-creator credit on Trippin' along with Diaz, used to work for Calvin Klein, where she served as Diaz's personal shopper. Reps for Diaz and the show both deny that MTV pays for acne treatments.
As for hair extensions, Diaz's rep says she had them on one trip but that MTV did not pay. He added that Liz Rogers was a senior vice president at Calvin Klein and is active in environmental causes.
